Adventure Ride #2 – The Sequel

IMG_5035 16_9

Monday June 12 – 6:30pm meet at Hiawatha parking lot by Soo Finnish building.

This month’s ride will be longer than AR#1 and feature more routes off the beaten track. Expect a mixture of double track, old logging roads, minor bush trails, beaver ponds and other natural impediments. This will be a casual, but challenging, group ride.

This ride is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders due to the distance (if you’re enthusiastic, you can do this!). The ride will be approximately 3 hours. Since I’m leading, you know there will be a photo gallery after the ride!

Bike Suggestions: Mountain bike or fat bike
Supplies: hydration and snacks, bug spray

Volunteers Needed

Hopefully, everyone has heard about the upcoming Hiawatha Trails Festival (an awesome day of bikes and biking for everyone).  The Festival is May 28 from 10am-4pm.  We need volunteers to help make the day a success and showcase the club and the trails.  Tasks include set up and tear down of tents and tables, ride leaders and sweepers, bike washers, mechanics (for basic bike checks, tire pressure and bike fit adjustments), ticket sales and BBQ meisters.

Message me on Facebook to get added to the volunteer list and for more information.
