About Sault Cycling

The Sault Cycling Club is a registered not for profit corporation that depends on membership fees and donations to achieve our mission of promoting cycling and cycling-related activities. Our board of directors meets monthly and currently consists of 16 volunteers.

Our home trails are at Hiawatha Highlands where we maintain the single track trail system. Thousands of volunteer hours have gone into creating and maintaining this diverse trail system.

The three single track trail systems at Hiawatha Highlands are on private land. The Crystal Creek trails are primarily on Kinsmen Club and Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority (SSMRCA) property. The Pinder trails are on SSMRCA property. The Red Pine trails are on SSMRCA, Ministry of Infrastructure and Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry property.

These landowners have provided permission for the existing trail networks. Continued permission for use of the properties for mountain biking is a privilege that must be maintained through responsible maintenance and use of the trails.
