    The Sault Cycling Club (SCC) is challenging our community to create a new logo for our 45th year in existence. We are looking for a logo that will help strengthen our identity, engage our current members and attract new members. Get your creative juices flowing and get to work for your chance to win!!     LOGO DESIGN CONTEST RULES

    The logo must:

    • Symbolize cycling with no preference to any type of cycling.
    • Use the words “Sault Cycling Club”.
    • Be simple, not be complicated or confusing, and all elements must be discernible when reproduced in smaller sizes.
    • Be the original work of the submitter.

    Submission Deadline: May 15, 2022 11:59 pm. Only entries received prior to the submission deadline will be considered.
    Participation: The competition is open to the general public, SCC members and directors of all ages. 
    Submission Format: Designs must be submitted in any of the following formats: .jpg, .png or .pdf (if a hard-copy design sketch is submitted, it must be scanned or otherwise rendered into one of the above computer formats and submitted). Images can be larger than, but must be no smaller than, three inches by three inches (3” x 3”).
    Judging: A committee comprised of 2 SCC Directors and 2 SCC members will assess and decide on a winner. Entries will be judged on their visual appeal, adherence to the concept prompting the contest, quality of design, and ease of reproduction for the purposes stated above. Should none of the designs meet the needs of the SCC, a design may not be chosen. Their decision will be final.
    Copyright: Sault Cycling Club will acquire ownership of the winning logo and the winning designer will disclaim any trademarks and without limitation all other rights related to the design. By submitting a logo for entry in the competition, the designer acknowledges that they are the person that created the logo and is the rightful owner. The designer also certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party and that it does not violate any copyright.
    PRIZE: One winner will receive a SCC custom hooded sweatshirt with their logo on the front, a $50 VISA gift card and of course, bragging rights.
