Trail Maintenance Day

Saturday May 12 is Maintenance Day.

The snow is quickly disappearing and the trails need your help.  Come and help us clear branches, rake leaves and get the trails ready for the season.

Meet at the Hiawatha parking lot (by the Soo Finnish building) at 9am.  We’ll break in to small groups to tackle sections of trail.

If you have tools such as pruners, loppers, rakes, pulaskis or leaf blowers, please bring them.  Some areas are walking distance from the parking lot, others are riding distance, so bring your bike if you want to ride.  Plan ahead for how you will carry your tools on the bike (e.g., a couple of bungee cords are great for holding a rake along your top tube).
