Route for tonight’s SCC road ride

Sorry for getting this out so late.  I hope everyone can make it.  It looks like after a rainy morning, we’ll have a pleasant evening of riding.

We’ll be meeting this week at McMeeken Arena at 6:30pm tonight (map: Google) for our second road ride of the season.  A and B groups will head out social up to 3rd line and across to Town Line, down to Base Line, and out to Walls Rd and down to the hill.  If we have enough people for separate A and B groups, then the B group can optionally do the hill and turn back while the A group hammers Sunnyside road and tries to catch the B.  If not, we’ll remain one big group at a social pace down Sunnyside and back.

Feel free to test your legs headed up the hill on Walls Rd and regroup before the turn on to Base Line.  We’ll return via Base Line and up Leigh’s Bay Rd (sandy turn on to the short steep climb).  Open it up here again and soft pedal at the top to regroup by the time we’re at 2nd line.  The night will finish with a ride up to 3rd line, across to Goulais Ave, and back down to McMeeken.

Shawn will be there to lead a C group and the route will be dependent on the group that shows up.
