2018 Adventure Ride #2 – June 11

Mountain biker riding through water

Monday June 11 – 6:30pm meet at Hiawatha parking lot by Soo Finnish building.

Wow this has been a busy week!  Preparations are nearing completion for Trails Fest on Sunday.  We’ve finished 3 Kids Shredding Singletrack sessions and our plans for the 4th session are set.

Now I can turn my attention to the Adventure Ride… Monday June 11th is our 2nd Adventure Ride of the season.

Come on out for a challenging ride beyond Crystal Lake.  I was out last week and there is lots of water and mud on offer, so prepare to get muddy!  The route has significant climbs, fast descents, a few mud holes and some wickedly fun, rocky descents.

I’m hoping to see some Marji Gesick riders out for a test of their early season preparations (that means you Tony, Sean, Wade, Reg, Jan).  And Teddy, there’s a wet muddy spot for our cover model!

This ride is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders due to the distance (30+km). The ride will be approximately 3 hours. Since I’m leading, you know there will be a photo gallery after the ride!

Bike Suggestions: Mountain bike or fat bike
Supplies: hydration and snacks, bug spray

Questions??…hit me up at Trails Fest on Sunday, or by email Peter@SaultCyclingClub.ca
