SCCCX#3 TURKEY CROSS

No more relays! It’s October and time to switch to more traditional ‘cross racing. We’ll be offering two individual races. The B race will be 30 min and start at 12pm. The A race will be 45 min and start at 1:15 pm. There will be a short lap kids’ race suited to young kids (so far, most have been 3-7 year olds) between the B and A races, at approx. 12:45pm. Older kids are welcome to compete in the individual races. We are continuing to offer reduced SCC membership fees for kids’ 12 or under ($10 instead of $30).

Venue: Algoma University, 1520 Queen St E. Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 2G4

Schedule:
11:00am – Registration opens, SCC membership required for participation; event waiver must be signed to participate
11:00am – Course opens for pre-riding, please register before riding
12:00pm – 30 min B race, line-up at 11:50 for race instructions
12:45pm – short lap kids’ race
1:15pm – 45 min individual race starts, line-up at 1:10 for race instructions

Fees:
The race series is free with your Sault Cycling Club membership. If you aren’t currently a member you can purchase yours at registration ($30 for older than 12 years, $10 for 12 or under).

OTHER INFO:

This is going to be an exciting course, we’ll be riding through a building at Algoma University! The SpeakEasy will be open afterwards (all ages welcome), so please plan to stick around and socialize after the race.
